We couldn't possibly be more excited to announce that we've completed the Early Access development of Hades II, and officially launched v1.0 of the game!! Whether you've been playing all through Early Access or this will be your very first foray into our take on the Underworld of Greek myth, we welcome you and thank you for joining us!

I'm playing it right now after a year of not playing early access (I decided to wait until full release). It's so much more polished and I'm glad I waited, from the get-go I noticed combat is a lot smoother, and all the menus and art have been improved.

Anybody playing it here? What're your impressions?

Now it's out of early access, Hades 2 is a very strong sequel that builds on its predecessor's strengths and offers an enrapturing godly grind.

Hades 2 version 1.0 finally got a release date at the latest Nintendo Direct, and drops later this month.

Hades 2 devs Supergiant have put out another early access patch for the game, having said the previous one would likely be the last before full release.

Supergiant Games say Hades 2's patch 10 "will likely be our final patch before our v1.0 launch".

We now can confirm we're planning for Hades II to launch in Early Access in Q2 2024 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. We'll have more details on the exact date, pricing, and system requirements closer to that time.

I've been enjoying using the hidden sword aspect coupled with Aphrodite or Artemis on attack for big numbers. Even though it's slow and a little clunky it's still surprisingly satisfying to use. Other fun ones are Zeus on fists or Poseidon dash/cast + anything for the speed they can clear rooms at (especially tidal dash in final biome). What are your favorites?
