Probably screaming into the void, but I'm looking more into my leg tendinopathy pain and I wonder if surgery really is the only option for me. The only issues I have with that is 1) I will have to bank up sick days/leave because I'm already using pretty much all of my leave already for PAX next weekend. 2) It's going to cost me a literal fortune, I don't like being in debt of people, but I can't afford hospital cover + extras, and they have a 12-month waiting list for pre-existing conditions even if I'm already getting extra cover 3) Probably can't do surgery anyways because of how entrenched weight stigma is in the medical industry.
Just feels like I'm going to have to live with this pain for the rest of my life.
I had similar a while back, was given a steroid injection and put in plaster to completely immobilise my leg . Had to use crutches, Then lots of physio.
You have tried all that?
Have done loads of physio, have had the voltaren when docs decided to just drug me up when I first came to them for the issue. But I've mostly been doing loads of physio and workouts, and it just sometimes doesn't feel like it's getting any better 😭
