Hey all. Always enjoyed reading everyone's suggestions on more unknown games available during big steam sales.

I'll start off with one that I have been a fan of for a long time: Death Road to Canada

This game is like a zombie action Oregon Trail like game, where you manage supplies and fight through hordes of zombies on your way to the safe haven of Canada. Only US$3.74 right now and well worth it imo!

I'd put Pathfinder kingmaker up there. It's an amazing D&D like turn based / real time isomeric role-playing game.

It's like 5 bucks and I put well over 100 hours into my first campaign. Takes a while to understand the classes and the mechanics, but if you're coming into the pathfinder ruleset blind, this is probably the best starting point.

The next one, pathfinder wrath of the Righteous is arguably even better, but kingmaker is the perfect starting point

I hate that a Pathfinder game has to be described as "D&D like".

Probably not for long honestly. Pathfinder 2e has been grabbing up a lot of market attention, especially among the myriad problems wizards has been shooting themselves in the foot with recently. I'll never be able to sing paizo praise loud enough.

I sure hope you're right :) Recent convert from D&D5e to the amazing universe of pathfinder 2e, and I sing Paizo praises all day long! The system itself is just chefs kiss compared, and Paizo is all together better people with great support as far as I've seen.
