Not a great start for an already niche product in a niche space
Looks like it’s a ‘manufacturing’ issue.
HW supply chains have been an absolute mess since Covid. It’s very, very possible that it’s a true supply chain constraint. Companies have been doing all sorts of crazy stuff to maintain or get access to HW components. This includes things like paying 3x to “steal” a shipment from another customer.
People who are not in HW have no concept of how long and unreliable lead times have gotten.
