As a paying Sync user, I couldn't agree more. Good news is LJ said in one of his comments, "Won't open source Sync. Maybe implement Lemmy". Unfortunately I couldn't link it since the sub's gone dark.
Also, this. But like you, I feel dirty staying with Reddit. And it feels like we're desecrating the legacy of Sync..

Great to see fellow Sync Pro users! I'm trying to get the hang of Lemmy for when, hopefully, he releases Sync for it! I'll gladly pay again, Reddit never deserved it.
If Sync Pro ever works with Lemmy I'll be soooooooo happy. Everyone is mourning Apollo and I'm over here feeling like I'm attending Sync's funeral alone.
