$8.85 minus what you spent.

Then if you don't win, you won't end up negative.

I'm already negative, the ticket was just over $15. Even more negative if you add in the powerball ticket. So I'm not so much winning as lossing less badly at this point.

My best was $8000 and that was in 1982. I have bought only one ticket since. ( in today's money that's 34,000, still not enough for a meaningful deposit )
