For me it's Wolf children. I watch it when I'm not feeling the best physically or mentally. What's your comfort watch?

Airplane! and/or Monty Python and the Holy Grail for movies.

For TV, I will watch Futurama, KotH, early episodes of the Simpsons and early eps of Family Guy. Not too much else comes to mind

As a series to sit down and watch, it's gotta be Mad Men, which I've seen all the way through three or four times.

As a series to watch in bed before sleep, it's the BBC's Richard Osman's House Of Games. It's cerebral yet fun and tension-free, as the four contestants are British celebrities vying for little prizes like fondue sets, bathrobes, pet feeding bowls and the like. All episodes are uploaded to YouTube.

As a series to drift of to sleep to, also from the BBC - Gardener's World. If you decide to pay attention, it's actually fascinating and entertaining, yet the tone is always soothing. Many full episodes are on YouTube.

Usually child friendly stuff like Molang, Karate Sheep, Classic Tom and Jerry.

Other stuff like The Dark Knight Trilogy, V for Vendetta, Death Note, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Doctor Who (mainly 10th doctor)

Illusionist, Michael.

Aside from others I see mentioned elsewhere here: MASH

Still just an amazing show. Alan Alda is wonderful.

Similar to this, I am always looking for good shows to fall asleep to. Typically like something that has a dark color palette, no super loud dialogue or anything, etc. Right now, I've been falling asleep to The Clone Wars animated series. Lots of space backdrops, dark colors, and I think the Star Wars sounds are naturally cozy for me.
