I did as much as I could, but I was lacking imagination after ours was done. Mainly spent time filling in random backgrounds.
Poor wehavecookies.social kept getting changed
I didn't know it was supposed to be "wehavecookies"! Most of the time it said "wehavecocks" and I thought ok a bit weird but whatever. I would have helped defend it if I'd known!
I also ran out of imagination, I watched the chat and helped out anyone asking for help on their template, did some tidy up stuff around the rainbow/big kiwi, then decided to do a background.
It took me way too long to work out what was happening with the unfinished pink/blue, if I'd known I'd have helped but it was over before I'd worked it out 😆.
I was watching the chat too, but got too lost with all the different things going on. It seemed liked they didn't decide to extend the pink and blue to the left until pretty late? I remember doing a little to help finish the right side earlier on today.
Everything still looks pretty great and the whole thing is really well filled out.
Yeah it's looking really good! Last year there was a lot of space in between the art, where as this year the gaps got filled in a lot more. It was just right, not so much space that we couldn't fill it all, and not so little that people were fighting for it. We finished our planned design in the first 24 hours or so and yet never had to worry about anyone trying to overwrite it. It makes it fun instead of tedious!
We need to get in early with the lazer beam next time, too many established drawings were in the path of the beam this time around.

Omg guys it looks really cool. I missed it at the time but it's great to see it! I love the kiwi/kiwifruit thing.
We did the kiwi/kiwifruit thing last time, but last time we did one thing, then another next to it, then another. This time we started with one cohesive image, then built on it, so I think it worked out really well.

Not going to lie: I like this better than ours. The Aussie crew have learned a lot though and I think they'll do something better than just a boring flag next time. Even the random stuff on our flag like the upside-down pony is more interesting than the flag by itself.
I love the collection of smaller images. Did everyone have the template? I defended NZ a couple of times, but I didn't have a template so I had trouble knowing how it was supposed to look.
