I might be wrong, but I was told solar panels in space produce much more energy than on earth, but that there is no practical or efficient way to bring that energy back to earth for us to use.

So, could we outsource some of our energy hungry computer processing / storage/ servers etc to a space station and use energy efficient solar panels and just stream or use remote computing?
