Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Lol. It's totally cool when the money comes from George Soris though, right?

This is the laziest, most uninformed retort I think I’ve ever seen. It could be used as satire if you just put a /s on it, but you actually believe this, and with zero evidence.

Good job.

Soros has donated literally hundred of millions of dollars to liberal and left wing causes. Some of his donations have been referred to as "dark money". This is not news - it's been well documented.

My point is that he's a left wing guy, so no one in the media cares.

(Sorry about the two deleted comments. Lemmy errors.)

You’re applying a massive false equivalency. If you consider Soros’ PAC donations “dark money” then sure, it’s easy to hand-wave in a concocted narrative of suspicious extralegal manipulations, which is the best you can do because as you contradictingly put it, “it’s been well documented” while also being ignored. Meanwhile, WE HAVE THE GODDAMN RECEIPTS that right wing billionaires are bribing sitting Supreme Court justices to rule in their favor on cases in which they are directly involved.

Soros is being ignored by the media because there is no story. If there was one, there’d be SOME kind of actual proof considering you have a hundred million right-wing conspiracy nuts like yourself who are desperate to find it. Instead there’s just vague misattribution of every PAC donation to be some shady, secretive, dark money deal. And that’s the best that can be done by Fox News, the largest and most powerful news network in the country with the backing of WAY more billionaires and more money than Soros.

So stop being both geniuses and constantly outplayed by the scary Jewish Illuminati while accusing the left of being both incompetent and evil masterminds. Your reasoning is simplistic and shallow. You are grossly partial and you hold your political “enemies” to a profoundly higher standard than you do yourself and your side. It’s unfair, it’s indecent, and you make America worse for it.

I better not hear you or any of your leftists buddies here bitch about the Koch brothers then.

[–] EvilBit@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Another lazy false equivalency. The Koch brothers spent fortunes to undermine democracy and flood social media with disinformation. Soros did what? Give me one proven example of unfamiliar or unethical aims.
