Good morning, from the mountains of Montana, USA.Currently working remotely from home, and getting to know my fellow Beehaw buds on my down time, and hoping our fire season isn't as bad as the past couple of years. I've been looking into heading to Canada, as I'm growing increasingly worried at how things are changing here.

Born in Portugal, lived in Brazil since my 3 years of age.
Midwest region of United States. I quite like most of the people and a lot of the food.
I'm from the southeastern quarter of France, Grenoble. I've lived in quite a few places all around the world and always come back here.
Washington state, it's pretty good as far as the US goes. Dreaming of moving to the Netherlands someday.
Massachusetts, USA!
Perhaps unsurprisingly, I currently live in San Francisco
Anthony, Kansas. The most boring little wheat town in America 🌾
Southwest Washington State. Originally from Northwest Oregon.
It is amazing here. We have very moderate weather, lots of trees year round. An hour from the beach. An hour from the mountains. Surrounded by forests.
The people here are pretty diverse and friendly for the most part. Always festivals or events going on year round. We have a great beer and food culture.
The complaints I have are few and far between, but overall it is a fantastic area.
I am from Trøndelag, Norway.
I'm from Oviedo, Spain.
The town's small enough that I'd dox myself by saying it, but I'm right near Lexington, Kentucky, United States.
As for how it is, it's not a very walkable place, unless you take the time to drive downtown, though that might be my own fault by living near the edge of the town border. It's very quiet most days, and while I wish I could talk to my neighbours more, they're all much closer to my dad's or even my papaw's age, so it's hard to find common ground. Not much scenery here neither, mostly a flat plain, the occasional forest or farm. Matter of fact, I live right in front of a cattle pasture, hear the cows every now and again. Diversity-wise, there's not much going for us either; most everybody's white, which is a real shame, I tell ya. In the town proper, there's a good amount of locally owned stores and restaurants, which is nice. The pizza place in particular is great. There's just... not a whole lot goes on around here, at least in the part of it that I choose to be around.
Sorry, bit of a tangent. Had a mighty lot of thoughts.
I'm from one of the many cities in Metro Manila, Philippines. Right now, it's very, very rainy.
Bergen, Norway.
A major city in the midwest of the US
Washington D.C. metro area, on the Maryland side. My city's not too bad, but the commute to work is atrocious.
Arizona
Southern Ontario, Canada here. It's muggy and warm (indoors), but that's to be expected when you live fairly close to the Great Lakes 🙃
Still, it's uncomfortable and I'm not a fan. I lived here for most of my life, and I was originally born near the tropics. You'd think I'd be used to it!

I'm from Hannover, in Germany. It is quite nice to live here, although the recent attacks on queer people make me worry a bit about my safety even if I am not visibly trans. Some more info about the place I live in is that it is one of the most flavourless cities that exists in Germany and seems to only have bad news going out. But it is surprisingly green, walkable and has one of the best public transport systems that I used.
