My favorite option coming from Boost is a Hide read button that hides all the posts I just scrolled through. This makes it very convenient to visit the front page again later - all posts and content are fresh.

Bonus option, hide Upvoted and downvoted.

Use the "Mark as Read on Scroll" feature

I swear this worked on the first day, but not anymore

I had luck with turning Show Read Posts off in account setting and leaving Hide Read Posts off in the app settings. It still misses some, but I just upvote the ones I've already seen twice to make sure they disappear

Wow, was this just added? Awesome!

(Hide read posts must be enabled too)

Yeah within the last couple of updates

As a previous Boost user, I concur. I really miss being able to simply hide the previously read posts and clean up my home feed. Connect is amazing so far, but this feature add would make things that much better!

Thanks for editing your title to let others know this has been sorted.

Both of these features sound amazing! Totally agree

This is a setting on your main Lemmy profile that's be there for months.
