I was on Lemmy 2 months ago and haven't been back since. Using Firefox on my phone was just too slow for someone who was spoiled by Baconreader on Reddit.
With Sync, I think I'll come around more often.
I created an account as soon as I got a notification from the Play Store about it being available to install.
I mean, having a good client for an app is the first step to get users lol
I haven't been home browsing on my phone since it's been released. I'll hopefully be more active moving forward
I don't know if Lemmy is more active now, but I do see some new accounts so there's that.
I use liftoff now. Is sync an improvement? I find switching between instances to be a bit clunky and having accounts with different instances leads to lots of repeating posts.
Joined because of Sync and I like it, it's easy to use, smooth and neat because it's customizable to my liking. Amazing job
Yep. For me it's got me using Lemmy more... I hope that more communities from reddit start to move over.
Just wait and watch reddit... Now that 3rd party devs are unleashing stuff... This should take off. Hopefully joey app's lemmy rendition shows up as well! ๐ค๐ป
I definitely waited to set up my account for sync to come out. Im just most comfortable with sync, and familiarising myself with some other UI just to switch again when sync comes out seemed silly.
RIF is fun was still working for me up until now (logged out though). This stopped so...mesa back?
It's the superior interface. People now love interacting with the app and lemmy
Relay for Reddit, my last holdout for 3rd party reddit apps, has finally fallen. Here's to hoping the Relay dev can come up with a lemmy version. Jerboa keeps breaking with spell check.
I'm keen on using Lemmy now that it's clear to me that it's a solid alternative to Reddit.
