Reddit was down... So I made a Superstonk alternative in Lemmy.

Proud to be subscriber #16! I don't understand why there aren't more people migrating here due to reddit api debacle. Why would we run to another centralized platform, YT Gangnam style, instead of this in case of emergency?

Exactly. If this isn't the place where is. Fragmentation isn't great. The reason wall st is taking notice is because of a concentrated effort.

All the DD all the sleuthing and follow up on things. Millions of these instances. Can we get one that just mirrors superstonk or gme or something.

I've been off reddit a week and I'm jonesing for some gme news.

I refuse to re enter reddit so I need some kinda alt.

Let's all do our part, be sure to reply to any discussion on the original subs whining about reddit or the SS mods and encourage them to move here. Critical mass of users need to move, then the rest will come along.

Hi there! Same I would think the SS crowd would be the first in line to be third party apps users and protest the upcoming changes. Is what it is, I have a feeling things will slowly migrate regardless. Also be sure to check out https://Lemmy.whynotdrs.org

We don't really need a "space" anymore. We're all individual investors that are going to be stupidly rich independently ;). If everything goes radio silent, plan is still the same

True dat.

Also, the karma thing on the old forum was dumb. Bots have no problem getting karma, but i haven't been able to post there ever and was moderately active on Reddit.
