I'm not using matrix, I have tried it and it's not suitable for our community. Problem is the ux and that most people in our group are not technically minded. We're trying out fluxer which is more discord like.

Thank you, the self hosted server so far has gone well

I'm in this discord server for autistic people which has been really nice. We're in the process of testing out a selfhosted chat server so that we can start moving off discord

Fluxer recently added self hosting and it has a mobile app in beta and soon to be released, admin from a web GUI, not difficult to host, and has a good amount of discord features. It is somewhat heavy though.

I'm suggesting that unified push be optionally added to reduce reliance on fcm, which is good for people that use degoogled devices

Did try it but got nothing that needed to be upgraded still, I feel it might've just been an motd bug

I installed it about 2 weeks ago and resolute is only a few months old, not sure how that'd be the case

Rebooted my vps and Ubuntu suddenly thought there were 56 packages that could be upgraded, safe to say there weren't

They do. As the article says, you can download a .jar file from Minecraft's official website to host your own server

The tower, opened in 2009, is a mixed use building. In 2015, it was discovered that the tower was sinking and tilting due to foundation issues. As of 2025, it has tilted 29 inches to the northwest and sunk 18 inches.

I've started using Voyager again after trying out other clients because I love the ui and ux, however, I notice a lot of Piefed features such as cross posts, emoji reactions, flairs, and feeds aren't supported. While it could take a while, I would like to see implementing some of these features explored. Absolutely no pressure to do this and I completely understand if you'd rather prioritise other features, since these can be done from Piefed ui which I use on desktop now.

For me personally, I use Blorp on desktop and Voyager on mobile. I've tried a lot of mobile clients but despite lacking a lot of piefed features, I like voyager because of the ui
