Good to know they have a dairy subsidiary so I can add it to my blacklist.

I believe I nevet bit the dust. Souls have some of the most bothersome enemies but those poor gassy things never stood a chance.

Lately I have to remind myself to refrain from suggesting friends to buy some of my favorite games because that money doesn't go anywhere close to their creators anymore.

I'm in favor, but that's for improving social media in general and beside the point.

Parents and legal guardians need better education and tools to effectively control what their kids and teens are exposed to online, not having their kids and teens used as an excuse to place everyone in an orwellian nightmare.
They purchase smartphones, tablets, consoles and PCs for their children and still most of them don't have a clue about what they can do to mitigate the risks associated with these devices. Those that do either have enough studies or need to contact a professional to get everything set up.

Governments should invest in this, even going as far as to tie these types of services to stores so when a parent buys a new iPhone for their minor it's already configured with the proper software, filters and permissions for a safe and adult monitored use at home.

Accessible parental controls ARE the way forward. NOT digital ID and biometrics verification.

Supporting the latter shows a clear stance against privacy.

Hopefully, the ethics of this also cover research on their functioning and preservation. Neurons usually have a much longer life than other cells, yet we've got a load of diseases that damage them.

I had no idea about this! Thanks!

The best prize here is your friendship. 🫶

All great games. Most of them on my wishlist too. A friend recently showed me there's a Seamless Coop mod in beta for Lies of P. A fun event could be held here someday thanks to that.

I'm still waiting for it to work on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I have no issues with any previous version, but games always crash on startup when launching them with 11 (official, beta, CachyOS, etc) from Steam (native package) in my case.

Edit: Solved. The issue was caused by Secure Boot. It was blocking some Nvidia drivers among other things.

Chaps, I believe we can all agree that even if Id Software consisted of a cage filled with deranged chimps they'd still be more qualified and useful than any Microsoft exec.
