The last google product that is use is gmail, and while searching for a solid alternative, many threads mentionned self hosting, which has been on my mind for a little while but here is what's stopping me so far: 1/ it sounds like a single point vulnerability 2/ I lack the skills.

As for #2, I've been down the privacy rabbithole for a couple years now, I know there are a lot of resources out there and I'm not afraid to learn, I just don't know where to start.

But I don't see the point in learning if in the end, I just build a server that could die in a domestic accident, resulting in me loosing a lot of important data.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated,

I had an issue while installing an app through fdroid, so I shut fdroid down because the install process was going on and never ending after several minutes, but know I can't install the app from fdroid nor from the direct apk file.

I suspect there's a file stored somewhere, creating a conflict and preventing me from installing the app that I need, but i can't access the directory where apps from fdroid are stores unless I root my device, which I don't feel comfortable doing.

Has anyone had the same issue? What are my options?

Also I'm running GrapheneOS.

I need to leave my country for a couple days, but my cellphone plan doesn't cover data oversea and I don't like to rely on WiFi. A relative suggested that I try Saily, which is an esim provider that you can load with whatever you need in the country you're visiting but I'm again reluctant to use an app when I don't know how trustworthy it is.

Has anyone ever faced the same issue? Should I simply let go of my internet connexion and enjoy a couple days off the the internet?

There are many similar cardholder out there but I drew the pattern for this one myself.

Made from a single piece (kind of a big T shape), veg-tan leather, hand dyed, and saddle stitched with linen thread.

There's a coin compartment, and another one that will easily fit 5-6 cards.

Made with pueblo leather, I wouldn't really recommend it unless you have proper reinforcements, because it's very supple and won't hold up very good after a while.

Simple deck case I made. Very easy project as it's made with a single piece of leather, folded and held in shape with only 2 rivets.
