Sometimes I find myself looking at a community and wondering what other communities that instance has. Right now it’s not super easy to check that. This is specially interesting when looking at regional instances like feddit.de or lemmy.eco.br.
Obviously you could just go to the instance URL and look at the communities there, but I think a feature that allowed you to see all the communities in that instance straight from the app would be good. Being able to sort by active users, subscribed users, etc would be a plus.
I don’t think Threads need the fediverse to survive or thrive.
And correct me if I’m wrong but I think Mastodon’s biggest instances don’t mind federating with Threads.
