Maybe I don't understand the language they use, but so many people on there claim to just want to find friends. Unless you're looking for friends, then all the profiles say they want a one-night stand.

I've seen God, and I swear on my life he was a black man driving a Cadillac.

I always found it funny as hell when someone on reddit would get super offended by me "stalking them" i.e. literally reading a post they made half an hour before, lol.

I would be so much happier if it turned out that the brainworm was responsible for all this mess, Las Plagas style.

Are we not supposed to be capitalizing species names? I just don't do it because I'm lazy.

She's mad l say! Maaaaad!!!

I finally just walked out when management threatened my job when I wanted to do the grab-n-go meats and cheeses instead of filling some mobile order thing for 8piece fried chicken that came in for like 6 or 7 in the morning. Like, seriously, you'd rather make 9 dollars now, than at least 300 (probably double that, those things are expensive and sell out super quick here, WHEN THEYRE DONE EARLY IN THE DAY) here in a little bit when all the workers and housewives come in looking for quick sandwich supplies? Any other day they'd have been whining that I was ten minutes late finishing that up.

Dunno about 7-11, but I got fed the same line at Kroger, and it's such bullshit. I tried cooking fried chicken to meet demand, and I kept getting told to make more, which would then be thrown away.

What made it worse was that sometimes the chicken would show up a day before expiry, so we'd cook it all at once and you guessed it, thrown away, instant fire bla blah blah.

Edit: Also got told we operated on super thin margins, gee I wonder why when you keep telling me to waste product.

I know I'm a bit late, but does anybody feel like the entire internet has ignored a really weird aspect of Toy Story 5? I get that they wanted the characters to be more involved in the human's lives, but good lord, if my kid (I don't have kids) lost her toys and some stranger starts messaging them about meeting up to give them back (especially right after she got an internet connected device) I'd be insanely freaked out!

Same goes for the other girls parents. New toys show up, and a girl and her "mom" (yeah they look alike, but predators arent always stupid) claim to have been messaged by your daughter (despite your kid having NO WAY to have known how to get in contact with them) and the girl shows almost ptsd-like symptoms upon seeing these toys and denies wanting anything to do with them? Nope, nope, get off my property, lady!

I find it odd that every conversation about this film I've seen only talks about the tech addiction aspect, when every parent in the audience should be getting some spidey-sense tingles.

Apologies if this isn't quite the right spot for this, it's the closest thing I could find atm.

I'll never get over the slavery angle. Like, right after delivering your people from generations of slavery would have been the perfect opportunity to go "We're not doing that shit again."

I agree, "postmortal" indeed, pop's been around a few times.

I live in the USA, btw.

So there was this series of like three or more videos on youtube that listed free things to do on your computer. Some were games, and I think some things were just weird rabbitholes to go down on the internet.

I've been trying to get youtubes search to cooperate, but it only wants to show me computer help and lifestyle stuff. I've even scrolled through a thousand videos on my favorites playlist, but so far nothing. It surely can't be some niche thing.
