I forgot this show even existed until I saw this post. If production doesn't start until 2027 I can't imagine it will air until 2028 which means that there are 3 years between seasons.

I legitimately can't remember anything that happened in season one. Maybe the delay between seasons is intentional so that viewers need to go back and watch S1 before S2 which would increase subscriptions and watch time?

At this point I no longer bother to watch anything that doesn't already have a second season and even then I'm skeptical.

I was not expecting them to respond but I was not expecting my response to be deleted immediately. I was hoping for my response to be available for others to see so they could make an informed decision.

Yeah it's frustrating because madthumbs (and you too) seem to know what they're talking about to someone like me who is not an expert, but if madthumbs is not going to allow good-faith discussion, newbies who might consider Linux will only get one side of the story.

Linux is not perfect but the contributors are always trying to make it better and that perspective will always be missing from linuxsucks@lemmy.world.

I propose a new community called linuxsuckssucks@lemmy.world that just copy/pastes the posts from linuxsucks@lemmy.world and allows free discussion.

Agree with you 100%. After posting I read the sidebar and the rules make it very clear that it's their fiefdom to run as they please and they don't tolerate good-faith discussion. Such is the freedom of the fediverse. I don't agree with their way of doing things but I respect that they are free to do so.

Still gonna block linuxsucks@lemmy.world and recommend everyone else do the same.

Semi-related: I wonder if it would be worthwhile to create a list of communities that most newbies to the fediverse should block from the get-go. Like a sort of a "there be dragons" list of places that most reasonable people would probably want to avoid.

Typically the type of rider who rides without a helmet has some sort of other protection from the wind in the form of a windscreen or fairings on the motorcycle to deflect wind away from their face. It's mostly a comfort thing though because it's not impossible to ride without a helmet even without wind protection especially if you're just cruising around town at lower speeds.

Even people who do wear helmets appreciate these features on their motorcycles because having the wind blasting against your helmet can be very loud and tire out your neck muscles.

I wouldn't know because I haven't gone to a movie theater in maybe 10 years.

Not sure what you mean by that. If it's directed at me, I'm reasonably fit and I enjoy cardio. If it's directed at others, many people are elderly and not capable. Either way, the United States are huge and definitely require transportation that's not human powered.

I love bikes and 100% support better bike infrastructure but for anything over a few miles it's just not practical to ride a bike for most people. Even if I'm physically capable of riding maybe 80 miles, most people aren't.

If I want to go hiking in the White Mountains in New Hampshire from Boston in Massachusetts I'm not gonna pedal my way there. I'm taking a motorcycle or a car. I'd like to see better public transportation in the form of either trains or busses but realistically I'm not sure that public transportation is viable to such a rural area.
