I agree, but I think shitty beauty standards and perceived societal pressures lead an unfortunate proportion of the population to believe that any fat on the body is bad and unattractive. I'm not a doctor or a dietician or anyone else that actually knows what they're talking about here, but I think that looks like a healthy amount of fat to have on the body. Striving for less can lead people to make unhealthy choices, especially if they already eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly.

Wow, I never actually listened to this song's lyrics, so I never made this connection until now. It was always playing in the background on a Nina Simone Pandora station while I was at work (bartending at a restaurant) when I heard it before.

Thanks for sharing.

I stopped getting Doritos when they went above $4/bag (prices are in USD and are what is printed on the bag, not what is displayed on the store shelf). I was already on the fence when it was $3/bag and stopped buying it on impulse from convenience stores. I would still indulge occasionally, but only when I could snag a deal at the grocery store. Then, around the time of the COVID price gouging, it went above $5 and I consider that insane for tortilla chips sprinkled with powder. Last time I saw the price of a bag of Doritos, I was at a 7-eleven and it was over $6. That's fucked up. You're mostly buying air anyway.

I was using a GTX 670 until 2022. To be fair, I also got a Steam Deck when it came out, which tided me over for a year or two with a couple new releases I wanted to play (mostly Elden Ring).
