Looks like the downvoters invested in stockings too

I have hundreds of short form videos which are designed to uplift, encourage, and speak positively about mental health issues.

Could you please drop a link to them? If what u'r saying is true, well I kinda need em at this point in time :(

So tiktok for the fediverse...

Listen, I'm all for open sourcing stuff and I'm all for the fediverse and all. I just don't understand why one would want a fediverse tiktok.

  • Short form content is addictive af and doesn't add anything of substance to society.
  • Video hosting is expensive. Peertube is already struggling. How do you expect to financially sustain video hosting that is addictive to the user (which means more consumption) without running ads? Paywalling it won't be an option due to the network effect as well.

I'm glad whenever fiction gets a real ending instead of just dragging out for a million years.

True. I just wish they do something more with this comic. Maybe it's a rlly far fetched hope, but I genuinely think someone should pick it up for an animated adaptation or something. The story, the characters, the scenes all look really animatable (if that's even a word lol). There r few fan animations on YouTube. They kinda give a preview of what I'm saying ig (albeit the voice acting isn't thaaaaat good)

Very interesting video, I had no idea the level of redundancy built into QR codes.

RIGHT?!! Same here. I didn't know there was SO MUCH of thought put behind QR codes. I always assumed they were just bits visually represented in 2D with the three black squares being there for alignment purposes. Turns out it is a lot more complicated than that hehe

Thanks!

This is fanart of a webcomic called “Castle Swimmer”. It’s really really good! Here’s a link.

The UCP jerks seem to be making the underground tunnel for the green line impossible. A possible new alignment could be elevated rail through downtown. After I watched this video, I think it wouldn't be that bad after all?

Orbit is an LLM addon/extension for Firefox that runs on the Mistral 7B model. It can summarize a given webpage, YouTube videos and so on. You can ask it questions about stuff that's on the page. It is very privacy friendly and does not require any account to sign up.

I personally tried it, and found it to be incredibly useful! I think this is going to be one of my long term addons along with uBlock Origin, Decentraleyes and so on. I would highly recommend checking this out!
