The numberless masses that run adblock and refuse to donate.

 

I was cruising internet nostalgia and found that milk.com is largely the same formatting today (updated March 2023) as it was back in 1996.

I had quite a chuckle at the tagline in the footer: milk.com is a blink-free zone.

Instead of ads Lemmy operators should be paid for hosting. Users should be asked for funding on a periodic basis (perhaps a small number of subscribers could fund the entire hosting for all.)

No one should assume this is all free forever.

Give it time, but don’t stop giving feedback. Every platform is buggy in the beginning.
