I get you're comfortable but this part " I don’t really have the will to learn anything new for the purpose of getting a job any more." makes me think you may be limiting yourself. Not even from a money perspective, but, from a goals perspective.

I agree with this take. The claims are plausible from both sides but England obviously won the battle. The inhabitants being established are a result of the military positioning, so their votes will obviously be skewed. Not sure their votes are comparable to those of say native populations of other disputed territories (since there were none).
So I can understand why the Argentines feel aggrieved.

The utter absurdity of this game makes it fun regardless of the bugs and balance gymnastics. I've never felt as satisfied to reign down absolute madness on friends and foes alike as I have playing this game.
