All that lithium sitting in storage lots, wasted. Tesla could save the CT with some sort of body kit conversion that tears it down to the frame and rebuilds it as a more traditional truck. It’ll still not be a great truck, but better than letting all those batteries rot.

But the Aztek was the first crossover. Part car, part SUV. The world didn’t know they wanted it yet. Now almost every vehicle is either a truck or a CUV. I can’t see what is going to be redeemable about the CT. Maybe electric pickups will take off among the Tradies, but CT wasn’t even first there.

1.1 kW array, draped over the car is going to produce more like 0.7kW at best and probably less due to clouds and sub optimal angles. Good EV efficiency is like 3mi/kWh and let’s assume you get 8 good hours of sun, which may be generous depending on local weather and time of year. I think you’re only going to see about 16 miles of range added per day.

I don’t buy the “negligible” effect to air resistance and lower speeds. There are just too many factors.

So I guess if you commute less than 16 miles round trip, and you can easily remove it when going on longer, high-speed trips it might solve your lack of outlet. But I stand by the fact that if you can’t charge either at home or at work, electric may not suit your needs. I’m not a hater, both my wife and I drive EVs, just realistically they don’t suit everyone.

In the early days they were everything I wanted in an Android device. Hardware sold with minimal markup, long battery life, and easily customizable when it came to the swapping ROM’s. Their customer service was also fantastic.

Then they slowly raised margins and the hardware wasn’t cheaper than other flagships. Then they started making their own ROM and making it harder to swap it out. Now they’re just another Android. Nothing sets them apart from pretty much any other device.

On top of that, their customer service is now on the deny delay defend flow. If you have a problem and you need their support, you will regret going with them. If you don’t have a problem, you’ll probably be fine. But why go with them at all, nothing they offer is better than a Samsung or LG.

Loved them at first, but they fully enshitified after OPPO. They were also on my blocklist for future purchases after claiming my trade in was damaged presenting pictures with no damage.

Might want to get into this. Would this emulator allow me to play off disks in my Blu-ray drive? Or will I need to find/make disk images?

This would require the bank industry to invest in technology, and that would cost money. Banks are for making money, not spending it. Charge just enough to the consumers to cover whatever losses are brought about by the archaic system and you successfully pass on all losses to the account holders.

A lot has already been said, but one I didn’t see that I truly never expected is that I’m losing my grip strength. I drop things all the time now, and those pickle jars don’t open nearly as easily.

I think the “steam roller” from Meta PCs proves that it’s reasonable. Similar price, slightly better specs, but not crazy better. Though I do like the fact they have a full on video card that can be independently upgraded. It’s a shit market currently.
