I think your approach for evaluating political economic systems is sound, and it's worth pointing out that, despite decades of unimateral embargo from the us, Cuba has some of the best doctors in the world. They developed their own covid vaccine. From Wikipedia:

Cuba provides more medical personnel to the developing world than all the G8 countries combined.

I think it makes a strong case that a political system oriented towards common good can overcome crippling material restrictions imposed by a hostile neighboring superpower to provide free, high quality, universal healthcare.

You beat me to it! Fighting for the billions spent on dividends and stock buybacks is how workers will reclaim the surplus they generate for the company and win meaningful raises. That said nobody deserves compensation of tens or hundreds of millions of dollars per year, so I agree with others that cutting ceo pay is an important symbolic victory, even if it's a drop in the bucket of money flowing through the corporation.

"Art" is such an interesting notion. I think it's safe to say that we currently call people "artists" if they're able to commodify their creative output. Whereas in reality, all humans are capable of creative expression. You are an artist. We all are. And UBI should be given to everybody!
