their next decision is always the worst

Meta’s Muse Image tool allows anyone to tag your public profile in a prompt and generate AI images using your photos. This can include your face, your likeness, and other people who appear in your photos, including children with no power of consent. You don’t get asked first. And, according to Meta’s own policy(new window), you don’t get told after either: “You will not be notified about content created using AI features at Meta."

no, my experience with the aurora store has been very good actually. I simply manage to download and update what I need, I dont see ads or a thousand useless buttons. the maximum that has already happened was some app refuse to run because of the absence of the playstore

hey everyone, I wanted to share a project l've been developing for the past two weeks. I had tried to find a minimalist open-source bad-habit tracker, but I didn't like the ones I found or ran into some issues. So I decided to build one using the stack I know best. I added some features like setting a target number of days with a progress bar toward that target, notes and a feed to save articles, news, or video links that help you stay focused on your goal. there's also an option to set a password to access the site, and both light and dark themes.

But it can see your balances, transactions, stock portfolio, and liabilities like a mortgage and credit card debt. And OpenAI — a company that eventually needs to turn a profit — doesn’t specify what the company itself will do with all that financial information outside of AI training, or if there are any additional protections in place to protect users’ financial data from a system hack.

lol.

[–] rafssunny@lemmy.zip 2 points 4 months ago

no, and you don't even need to log in to use it.

I wanted to share this open-source alternative to Spotify/YouTube Music for Android that I found. It's ad-free and VERY CUSTOMIZABLE. This definitely deserves so much MORE recognition. https://github.com/koiverse/ArchiveTune
