What is this a sign of?

How long did it take you to get used to controller Gyro? I do play competitive games but not really serious about them either but anything to be more comfortable over using M&K at a desk sounds nice.

I have had my Steam Deck for a bit of time. While most games I am able to control fine I find myself slightly struggle with FPS games on it. With a regular controller I do fine but the spacing of the joystick on the SD tend to tire my hands out fairly quickly.

I recently tried Gyro aiming on some games and it does feel better, but I can’t quite get used to aiming that way through an entire run of the game. I’ve heard of things like FlickStick aiming to help.

Does this feel like a niche? Wouldn’t it be better to just bring a controller or M&K with your SD if you want to play a FPS?

Watch MKBHD’s review of it to get an idea. Hunk of plastic over your mouth that does nothing to filter air.

To note, this demo is now available on Steam as well.

Overall, this is a silly take by the Mods of sysadmin.

This form of protest has proven ineffective on reddit repeatedly.

WE are the content. While I agree going dark for just a couple days is weak, it still shows a point.

Shutting down the sub on a Monday will have an adverse impact on our readers, including possible production issues.

If you are solely relying on Reddit to fix a Production issue you are not using the internet like you should be.

We have avoided reddit “politics” intentionally and will continue to do so.

By mentioning you are not going dark is being involved.

I have typically avoided older games and played the new and shiny. However, in recent years AAA games have just felt like a chore. I am finding emulated games and indie games to be much more satisfying, especially on my Steam Deck.

Mastodon has a place, just isn't for some people. I found the same problem you had with it. Just like how conversations work better in a Reddit-like style of communicating.

RedditIsFun was my goto years back before switching over to iOS to use Apollo. Even though Apollo is a fantastic app I found RedditIsFun to be my preference. Both apps will be missed, and I hope both developers make something as equivalent because the official Reddit app is just corporate level sad.
