Now and Then, Here and There, a very heavy anime, I guess it's heaviness is the reason why it never became super popular, but still, I think it still had what it takes to become an anime of cult.

Shiki, also deserves more recognition than what it has.

Kemono no Souja Erin, I didn't finish this one, but the first half is amazing, unless the second half looses quality this one should have been popular too.

Also, it's worth to mention Gunslinger Girl.

All these shows are kinda dark, so maybe that's why they never got the recognition they deserve.

Depending on how you define "self-hosting", I may qualify at that.

I've hosted my email on a remote VPS myself. I have not hosted the machine in my apartment.

I used postfix + dovecot + mysql stack, I have to admit it was the hardest thing I've ever configured and I've hosted a lot of services in my life.

In the end I ended up switching to the free service that came with the domain became no matter what I did and how compliant I was to dkim and SMARC and tkip (I'm probably butchering the name here, it's been a long time) outlook accounts kept sending my emails to spam, everything else worked fine, even gmail, but DAMN Microsoft and how much I hate that company managed to fuck over me one final time even after years after I switch to Linux. I tried everything even the form to remove my email from spam.

Tl;Dr hosted email on a vps but couldn't get past outlook spam filters

Those streaming sites have dreadful image quality, sometimes even audio is fucked. They are useful to check bits of the first episode before you commit to download from a high quality source.

I mean, you do you, but anime is a much more pleasant experience if you download a decent encode.

I'm not even saying to download SubsPlease or Erai-Raws, just Judas, EMBER, ASW, Cloe, etc. Look pretty good and only take about 200 to 300 MB per episode.

I understand that you don't want to torrent, but, you're ruining your experience. Besides torrenting easier than what you're trying to do.

Does the computer have an SSD already? If not install an SSD, it will be a night and day difference.

8GB should be enough for basic dad tasks like checking the email and light web browsing, assuming the system is using GNU/Linux.

Is the ram soldered? Otherwise you can always upgrade it.

I'm using Voyager because Star Trek.

Works very well except for one problem, it doesn't remember the last thread or community I was on I switch apps and android kills in background.

It's particularly annoying when I follow a link and when I come back to comment on it Voyager is back on Home and the thread lost forever.

Or when I'm in the middle to writing a comment but want to quickly fact check something but when I come back I get a message saying that my comment was saved, nice. But still can't go back to the thread I was to finish it.

Apart from that I'm satisfied with it.

Actually, photovoltaic solar panels work more efficiently when cold, heat makes them less efficient. I've read.

Try high pH water, normal water is painful to drink, but high pH water is much smoother.

Damn, you've got a huge list, still I need to recommend Gatchaman, Deadly and if you are into Powerpuff Girls, you need to watch Powerpuff Girls Z.

Most should be easy to find but Deadly I could only find on youtube with terrible quality. Still worth it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PScRdFhd6m4&list=PL4jOVhCe6AUy1N4cY7Fv9pnzMv3SGrHc1&index=2

I think you may have a faully microwave leaking current to the chassis. And the chassis seems to be ungrounded.

You must be delusional if you think anything good will come of digital euro.

It will be nothing but a mass surveillance tool. And another step towards the abolition of cash.
