For this Friday Movie Night, first up is The Host (2006), from renowned auteur Bong Joon-ho (Parasite, Snowpiercer) about a tentacled creature that preys on idiot humans who keep polluting its water. After that is Train to Busan (2016), which is about a zombie apocalypse, but on a train Despite the generic-sounding premise, it has an excellent rating on Letterboxd, so we’re watching it. It is by far the best-known film of its director, Yeon Sang-ho.
