Even though federation has led to racists and/or NATO defenders showing up, I've also encountered a number if very cool people from other instances posting things like helpful advice on federation stuff, vivid descriptions of getting vored by a pack of anthro-hyenas, interesting insights and opinions on Star Trek lore, etc. I still haven't found much in the way of active hobby communities, but it's pretty cool to see more Star Trek and furry stuff in the timeline, and I feel it makes having to deal with the occasional deranged lib worth it.

Anyways, to all the genuinely cool people who wander into Hexbear threads, I'm very glad you've showed up to bless us with your wonderful posts and I hope you stick around.

Not a big fan of 'em to be honest.

I'm on episode 4 of Blowback Se02. Growing up, I had the usual "Cuba bad" views...over the past few years I learned more...but listening to this...how do you not want to scream?! How do you deal with having friends and family who still buy into the bullshit. I remember asking my friend his thoughts on the fact Cuba has virtually zero homeless on any given night...his response? "They probably just shoot them..." How can Americans say this while believing they're not propagandized...I want to just start screaming Viva Fidel from a megaphone on my roof...

This isn't even a good article, but we all kinda know it. The suburb, the detached single family home, the kitchen, the laundry room, the garage, the car, they're all anti-culture weapons designed to destroy human beings and make consumers out of their bones.

I know some of y'all like dunking, but just want to remind you to make sure you follow rules on other comms that aren't local. I personally would refrain from doing PPB on a federated comm to be honest, some of the other mods from those instances might view it badly.

I just wanted to write this, since at a glance, it feels like hexbears (hexbearians? what's the correct name?) are treating every comm like a hexbear one, which isn't always the case. I'm not talking about sourced comments here with good discussion. Those are fine I think. I'm mostly referring to stuff like PPB in other instances to be honest.

These are just my 2 cents. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I remember reading in one of John Timpson's books about this. Apparently it was the church cat, and the verger had them buried in the churchyard. People complained, but his argument was that it'd spent more time in church than anyone!
