Luan was a 17-year-old trans boy. When authorities recovered his body, injuries to his neck and face, blood, burns and preliminary forensic observations pointed to severe violence before his death.

Firefighters had extinguished flames in the field before Luan was discovered face down and partially undressed. Police documented possible drag marks and tire marks nearby and collected a sandal, necklace and phone-charger cable from the area. Those physical traces became part of the homicide investigation, but the available record did not determine whether Luan died at that location or was brought there afterward.

In the days that followed, Civil Police sought surveillance footage and information about vehicles that may have traveled near the area. Rain had affected portions of the scene, adding another obstacle to efforts to preserve and examine potential evidence. No suspect had emerged in the latest verified reporting.

An unidentified trans woman was found dead early Thursday in Baltimore’s Charles Village, leaving friends, community members, and advocates mourning while homicide detectives search for answers. Police said officers responded around 1:16 a.m. near North Calvert Street and East 24th Street, where the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Baltimore Safe Haven said she was not a stranger to the community. The organization identified her as a friend and former client, and staff described her death as deeply affecting people who knew her personally. Safe Haven is also planning a candlelight vigil near the area where she was found.

Today’s game is Halo MCC. I played some 8v8 PvP with a friend. It felt good to be back playing Halo. Halo to me is that game that just feels right to play. I could come home and turn it on and it’s like this deep seated feeling that everything will be okay, because I’m in my place. I think it’s fascinating that a game can produce that kind of effect.

TF2 is like that too. But Halo seems to have captured my heart more recently, with the benefit of my friends liking it.

Anyways. 8v8. I love this game mode because it’s so large it feels like there’s always something to do. One minute you could be charging the enemy base. Get blasted. Then be fending off an attacker at your own base. It’s so full of action, I love it.

I found out for the first time ever that you can drive the elephant. I assumed there just wasn’t a way too drive it. It’s really cool that you’re able too, because I’ve always loved sort of mobile fortresses in gameplay. So having one in Halo is awesome.

I ended off with a 8v8 Assault game on Rat’s Nest. Not my go to map for assault but it was still great fun. I should really play social games more often to get that full 8v8 action, because I miss out on it when playing with my small group.

Maybe I’ll bring them along even to join me. We will absolutely get our assess handed us, but 90% of the experience is chilling and having a blast with my friends so I’m just happy to have them there with me.

Donald Trump received military honors during a brief Dublin courtesy visit with Irish President Catherine Connolly.

U.S. President Donald Trump received a formal military welcome in Dublin on Saturday but a notably restrained reception from Irish President Catherine Connolly, who hosted him for a brief courtesy visit at the presidential residence.

The roughly 15-minute encounter at Áras an Uachtaráin was part of Trump’s informal two-day trip to Ireland, which also includes a visit to his golf resort in Doonbeg, in the west of the country, to attend the Irish Open.

Although the trip is not an official state visit, Dublin’s Phoenix Park was closed to the public for the occasion and Irish authorities arranged a guard of honor for the U.S. president.

Trump walked along a red carpet on arrival, shook Connolly’s hand and briefly entered the residence with her. The two then returned outside, where a military band played the national anthems of the United States and Ireland.

No images were released from inside the residence, and no details were provided about what the two leaders discussed. Trump signed the visitors’ book, writing: “It is a great honor to be here. Thank you.”

The meeting had been closely watched because of the sharp political differences between Connolly and Trump. The Irish president has previously criticized Trump’s policies and his role in the wars in Gaza and Iran. She has also taken part in protests against him and previously described the U.S. president as a “bully” and “misogynist.”

Despite those differences, Connolly maintained the formal protocol expected of her as Ireland’s president during the encounter.

Trump later traveled to Farmleigh House, the official guest residence, for a bilateral meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin.

He was also due to attend an event at the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Dublin, where he was scheduled to address about 100 guests. The engagement was to be his final political commitment in the capital before his departure for Doonbeg and the Irish Open.

Trump arrived in Ireland amid what was described as one of the largest security operations in the country’s history. Large anti-war protests and demonstrations opposing the U.S. president were scheduled in both Dublin and the area around Doonbeg.
