We have a couple of older gen HP DL360P G8’s sitting in a DC in Auckland, I’m not near a computer to grab the exact specs but it’s all running on proxmox and heaps of headroom :)

Last year I swapped to a iPhone 14 Pro purely because I have a work MBP + an iPad for a few other apps I needed to use. The ecosystem is pretty good but still love the Pixel range. Also went through the whole range - Nexus 5 (I loved the small form factor!) > Nexus 5X > Pixel 3 > Pixel 4a > Pixel 6. Loved them and no doubt I'll be back eventually 😂

Yeah - It does sound like the mesh system may be your best approach in that case. They have come a long way since I last tried them

Yeah Ubiquiti get some shit online by so-called professionals, but I have a UDM-SE with a U6-Pro AP and it's great. Been contemplating getting a U6-Enterprise just for the Wifi 6E.

I personally don't like the Mesh systems, I'd rather have all AP's wired in, but I get sometimes you can't just run cables

DM me if you want. We run fediservices.nz - Happy to sponsor this with a free NZ based VPS and anything else you need.

I went to register the domain and saw it was already taken 😅
