I'm just wondering if it's just me or is nothing selling on trademe/marketplace atm? Lots of scams or people are being quite stingy. I'm downgrading and have a lot of really high quality, often brand new items that I've been putting for very reasonable prices across the two platforms for months. No one seems to be buying at the moment, or expecting things for free. Is it just me or is it a bad time/time of year/reflection of the economy? It's super stressful because this stuff is worth thousands and despite not asking for that much, I'm expecting a baby and unable to work so I was really hoping to get just something back for it instead of donating, which I've already done about six car loads full in the last year. Feels so disheartening :(

I just saw that most new releases are bloody $140 now. That's definetly higher than anything I've seen before but at the same time, I remember that games on the ps3 were around $109 over 10 years ago. I think I got gta5 on ps3 for $119 as soon as it came out.

I was just wondering if anyone remembers what prices for new releases were like in the 2000's. My only point of reference is a receipt I have for Prince of Persia which was $99 from the Warehouse from like 2006. Adjusting for inflation that is almost $156 today. That is insane paying that much for a ps2 game. Just asking to see if this was the norm or did games also reach as high as $109 back then?

My workplace has two disabled parks right outside the front in a very busy carpark. Since this new increased fine has come about all of a sudden these parks are noticibly empty. They are usually always taken. There is a nail salon/spa right next to us and I suspect alot of these parks were taken by their customers who probably had disability stickers that were not valid to them. Of course other entitled people who can't be bothered having to walk across a carpark to get where they want would take them as well. I'm pleased they have increased this fine - disabled parks should be for disabled people not just the lazy, the cheaters, and the super entitled.
