I promised you a high quality lewd FLUX fine-tune, but, my apologies, that thing's still in the cooker because every single day, I discover something new with flux that absolutely blows my mind, and every other single day I break my model and have to start all over :D

In the meantime I've written down some of these mind-blowers, and I hope others can learn from them, whether for their own fine-tunes or to figure out even crazier things you can do.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned so far with FLUX, it's this: We’re still a good way off from fully understanding it and what it actually means in terms of creating stuff with it, and we will have sooooo much fun with it in the future :)

Any questions? Feel free to ask or join my discord where we try to figure out how we can use the things we figured out for the most deranged shit possible. jk, we are actually pretty SFW :)

I've noticed something interesting about the Flux model—one of its standout features for me is the way it produces unique faces and anatomies, aside from the occasional cleft chin. In the past, it was easy to identify AI-generated images at a glance, even before scrutinizing the hands or other imperfections, just by recognizing the distinct "1girl" face. Fortunately, with Flux, this issue seems to be partly resolved.

However, while browsing Civitai today, I observed that many NSFW LoRas are generating faces and body parts that look almost identical to those produced by Pony Realism and SDXL models. And here's the kicker—I downloaded a dataset from one of these LoRas, and the training images were actually generated by Pony. Now, don't get me wrong—I have nothing against Pony. I've had a lot of fun using it, and it's brilliantly fine-tuned for its purpose.

But as an average user experimenting and having fun with generative AI, I can't help but wonder if we're heading towards a situation where these LoRas get merged into Flux models, and then other models get merged based on those, and so on. You see where I'm going with this, right? It's the same cycle we've seen with many SD 1.5, SDXL, and Pony merges.

Again, this is just my observation, and since I'm not a professional in this area, I'd love to hear your thoughts and predictions. What do you think?

We are happy to release a sdxl lineart controlnet.

It's trained on carefully selected proprietary real-world images, with 100k training steps (with batchsize 4).

This controlnet was used by promeai.pro to enpower thousands of designers and marketers to simplify their workflow and increase the productivities.

Check huggingface repo to start easily.

here are some examples.

Kosinkadink's awesome Advanced-ControlNet nodes now work with Flux and the InstantX Union controlnet Union model ! The nodes are currently under the "develop" branch and will eventually be merged in the "main" branch, but you can use them now, if you'd like. 🙂

As they are still not in the main branch, you'll need to go here, click on the big green "<> Code" button, and then click on "Download ZIP". Extract the contents of the ZIP in your "custom_nodes" folder and remove the "-develop" from the name. Then start ComfyUI and it should get loaded automatically.

I've tested it with the Union controlnet model mentioned above in "tile" and "canny" modes and it seems to work just fine! ~~It works even with the non-alpha version of the Union model which had~~ ~~issues~~ ~~with EeroHeikkinen's~~ ~~eesahesNodes~~~~. I may post a workflow later.~~

EDIT: You can get the workflow from here. Just drag and drop the .json file into the ComfyUI workspace.

EDIT 2: It appears that it has some issues with the non-alpha version of the Union model, so I suggest you use the alpha version for now. Maybe this will be fixed in the official release.

FIrst of all, this is NOT a complaint. The open source free software community works for free and give us wonderful things. We wouldn't be here today in the AI image generation without them.

That said, Ive been an AUTO1111 user since the beginning. Now, with Flux, I've reinstalled Comfy (I had it installed for some time in the past but uninstalled) and, as I'm almost exclusively using Flux, I haven't opened AUTO for some time. I'm following the discussions about Flux in the AUTO Github and I know that implementing Flux is not that simple due to the nature of the model and, again, I'm NOT complaining. I just want to know what the community thinks about the feasibility of this implementation. I still prefer AUTO over Comfy even knowing how nodes work (yes, I know COMFY is more powerful, but as a hobbyst AUTO is simply more... simple and direct to the point), so there's a bit of self-interest in that too. :-)

As for the "die slowly" part, unless we have a fantastic, jaw-dropping SD 4.0, looks like Flux is the near future. If people start to lose interest in AUTO the project dies, because the devs will not continue to develop FOR FREE something nobody uses. It's not something I want to see happening, just a thought.

I did a test training a Lora of a popular character in Latin America, Chaves del Ocho.

As the series is old, there aren't many good photos. I had already trained on SDXL and 1.5, but I always had an old photo result.

However, in FLux, everything changed. In addition to being faster (one hour for 2000 steps), the results were much better than dreambooth, and adherence to the prompt is wonderful. The results with a 20 pics dataset is wonderful!

Flux will be very good for restoring and creating modern photos of old characters
