Original Title: Putin on the end of the war - "talking about timelines is counterproductive." Of course, chatting about "Kyiv in three days" before the war started was productive, as the grandpa had a lot of faith in himself.

Original Title: A russian T-80 tank ran over a mine and after a few minutes, Ukrainian FPV drones immediately began to attack it. The crew first tried to shoot back, but then quickly ran away so as not to become victims of kamikaze drones themselves.

I remember watching the news about the Russian invasion of Chechnya back in the day and watching this is sombering to say the least. Those savages will never change, they did horros to the Chechen people and they are doing the same to the people of Ukraine. There has to be a stop to all this.

Convicted criminal Trump Blames Zelensky for Russia's Invasion of Ukraine

The former president met with the Ukrainian leader in late September, and claimed the the pair had a “very good relationship.”

Donald Trump bizarrely blamed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the ongoing war in his country, despite Russia being the aggressor in the conflict.

“I think Zelensky is one of the greatest salesmen I’ve ever seen. Every time he comes in we give him $100 billion,” the former president said in an interview on the PBD Podcast with Trump ally Patrick Bet-David released on Thursday.

“Who else got that kind of money in history? There’s never been. And that doesn’t mean I don’t want to help him because I feel very badly for those people. But he should never have let that war start. That war is a loser.”

Trump failed to mention that Russia, at the behest of President Vladimir Putin, invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

He has long touted claims that he could end the war in “24 hours” and that the conflict would have never began should he have served a second term in office in 2020. Despite these proclamations, the former president has yet to specify how he would fulfill said promises.

“Ukraine, remember, is not Ukraine anymore,” he said to Bet-David. “Every city almost is knocked down to the ground.. all those beautiful golden domes are laying on their side smashed to smithereens… This should have been settled before it started. It could have. It would have been so easy. If we had a president with half a brain, it would have been easy to settle.”

In late September, Trump met with Zelensky at Trump Tower, before which he bragged that the pair had a “very good relationship.” He said the same about Putin.

The former president has historically espoused pro-Putin ideas and maintained a controversially warm relationship with the Russian leader. Journalist Bob Woodward’s new book War includes allegations that Trump took “as many as seven” private phone calls with Putin after he left the presidency, a claim the GOP presidential pick did not deny, and rather said would be “smart” if he did. Should he be re-elected, Trump has threatened to withhold aid to Ukraine.

Trump made it more than a little clear on Thursday that should he retake the White House come November, Ukraine will be completely and thoroughly screwed.

Speaking on an episode of the PBD Podcast that came out today, the ex-president falsely claimed that Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy “let that war start,” despite the fact that it was Russia who invaded the sovereign country. “I think Zelenskyy is one of the greatest salesmen I’ve ever seen,” Trump said. “Every time he comes in we give him $100 billion. Who else got that kind of money in history? There’s never been. And that doesn’t mean I don’t want to help him because I feel very badly for those people. But he should never have let that war start. That war is a loser.”

Trump has claimed, on multiple occasions, that he could end the Russia-Ukraine war immediately, though he’s never given specifics on how exactly that would work. He’s also previously suggested that it’s Zelenskyy’s fault that the war has continued, saying at a campaign event in North Carolina, “We continue to give billions of dollars to a man who refuses to make a deal.”

Trump’s take on the situation is presumably informed by his affection for Russian authoritarian Vladimir Putin, whom the ex-president has been a huge fan of for many years. As a reminder, during his first term in office, Trump sided with Putin over his own intelligence officials; has called Putin a “genius” and “savvy” for invading Ukraine; has defended Putin over (credible) accusations that the Russian president has had journalists and dissidents murdered; and once publicly called on Putin to help him take down Joe Biden. Earlier this month, it was reported that Bob Woodward’s new book reveals Trump has spoken to Putin more than half a dozen times since leaving the White House and—at the height of the pandemic, when COVID tests were in short supply—sent a stash to the Russian president. (A spokesperson for Trump denied the reporting, though the Kremlin confirmed the tests were sent.) On Tuesday, Trump said, of Putin, “Russia has never had a president that they respect so much.”

The United States is sanctioning two Chinese companies it says are cooperating with Russian entities to design, build and ship long-range attack drones, in the latest round of punitive action against firms supporting Russia’s war against Ukraine.

A senior official in US President Joe Biden’s administration said on Thursday that the weapons – part of Russia’s Garpiya series of long-range combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – are jointly designed with a sanctioned Russian entity, produced in China and shipped directly to Russia.

While the US has previously sanctioned Chinese firms for providing components for Russia’s military-industrial base, these are the first sanctions against Chinese entities “directly developing and producing” weapons systems with Russian firms, according to the US Treasury Department.

The first Chinese entity targeted by the Treasury Department is Xiamen Limbach Aircraft Engine, which the US says is responsible for producing an engine placed in the UAVs before they are shipped out of China.

The second company, Redlepus Vector Industry Shenzhen, was accused of working with Russian defence firm TSK Vektor to facilitate the supply of drones to Russia.

TSK Vektor was among the Russian companies sanctioned by the Treasury Department last December for assisting with procurement on behalf of major Russian anti-aircraft equipment makers in the development and production of one-way attack UAVs.

The US also announced sanctions against Artem Mikhailovich Yamshchikov, the owner of TSK Vektor, along with the Russian firm TD Vector, which is also owned by Yamshchikov.

Washington and its allies have increasingly expressed concern over signs of closeness between Russia and China and Beijing’s support of Russia’s war in Ukraine.

The US has in recent months imposed sanctions on hundreds of entities and individuals for supporting Russia’s war in Ukraine, including Chinese companies that it says is helping Moscow skirt sanctions.

It has also added Chinese entities to an export control list that forces suppliers to obtain licences before shipping to targeted companies.

The latest round of sanctions were announced as Biden begins a trip to Berlin, where he will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

According to a senior administration official, Biden is also expected to have a meeting that will include leaders from France, Britain and Germany, and support for Ukraine will be a major focus of the four-way discussions.

Beijing has said its trade with Russia is based on “equality and mutual benefit” and rejected what it called “unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction that are not authorised by the United Nations”.

It also denies that it is supplying Russia with arms to use in Ukraine, asserting that it maintains an “impartial position” on the war.

Responding to Thursday’s development, Liu Pengyu, spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington, said that the US was making “false accusations against China’s normal trade with Russia” and that China would “continue to commit to uphold the lawful and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese businesses”.

Just before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, China and Russia announced a “no limits” friendship, though more recent signs indicate that Beijing is trying to strike a delicate balance in its diplomacy between the Kremlin and the West.

Neither a joint statement in March 2023 between China and Russia nor their most recent one in May used the phrase “no limits” to describe the relationship.

In the statement from May, Beijing and Moscow agreed to expand their joint drills; conduct regular joint maritime and air patrols; and work together on space programmes.

In a meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Wednesday, Chinese Premier Li Qiang told his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin that China was willing to further deepen cooperation in trade and jointly upgrade supply chain coordination.

President Xi Jinping is expected to visit Russia this month for a summit of the Brics bloc of emerging economies in Kazan hosted by Vladimir Putin.

Original Title: The Ukrainian military has learned to use American HIMARS systems as well as the Americans themselves. Today, this weapon not only effectively destroys the Russian occupiers, but HIMARS has become their nightmare, which they cowardly call Chimera. Now the main thing is not to stop.
