I love him.
You are so cute Teddles โฅ
Got home not long ago from my weekend adventure. Iโm tired. Hereโs a photo from Woolshed Falls from this morning for your viewing pleasure.
I frigging love Woolshed Falls. Beechworth and surrounds is really lovely. I definitely want to go back again.
Beautiful. 'Twas a glorious day for driving and snuffling round the bush
Wasted $36 on an ink cartridge that was the wrong one and I had already opened it when I realised. Really kicking myself. That would've been a week of coffees or a nice dinner or several days food. Grrrr. Between this and the $200 fine and uni fees due tomorrow I'm glad I have a pay rise coming up. Sigh. I've been in muuuch worse financial situations so I just gotta forget these things and move on.
I saw on Twitter someone mentioned there are browser addons for Chrome/Edge that put historical prices on Coles and Woolworths websites, and I know it's not super groundbreaking to highlight how specials aren't really "special", but it does make for some interesting insights. e.g.
This pasta has been "on special" for 53 days. Isn't that just the normal price, at this point?
And we've all noticed the products that go on special every other week, but seeing it in graph form really makes you wonder what the true price of your laundry detergent is:
They extensions arw called "Coles Trend" and "Woolworths Trend". I'm not sure how long they will work though before they get blocked/banned/disabled somehow. (Would personally love a version of this for the likes of Chemist Warehouse, it's always so tricky to figure out whether their discounts/catalogues are real or not.)
Colesworth are dodgy as hell and the inquiry into them didnโt go far enough
I'd been buying a slab of My Dog at Coles for $27 for awhile (full price). I go in there, see a "Special" ticket for $27, have a look underneath and it says $28. You sneaky cunts.
Iโve seen it the other way around at woolworths.
Itโll have a ticket that says โeveryday low prices.โ
The ticket under it will actually be cheaper by 20-30%.
Those fuckers!
Think I slept for nearly 12 hours there. zzzz... Today and tomorrow are my last chances to get my uni stuff done and not sink into old patterns of guilt and shame. I'm going to make it work. Getting out of bed now so that I don't loll around for hours...
Went to the farmers market this morning and stocked up on mostly unnecessary but very tasty items. It was lovely to wander about in the sun, and there are always plenty of dogs to admire.
Then, when I came home I bit the bullet and cleaned out my plastics cupboard. Got rid of all the superfluous and unmatched things and have a more usable cupboard as a result.
I made banana choc chip muffins and they're yum ๐
Blessed be

I'm 100% for gun control but if you drive a hemi full fart past residential housing at 5am on a sunday people should be allowed to shoot at you.
Guns are wrong. Crossbows however are pretty fucking cool. Plus there's a moving target.
I aspire to one day be so rich I don't have to comparison shop before buying dishwasher tablets.
Trying to get some work done to lessen the load for tomorrow but Iโm procrastinating. Especially with the sun being out and all.
I am similarly struggling with uni... Contemplating printing out some papers to read and amnotate, without the distraction of screens
I took a nap at about 6 and woke up again around 8, that was a bad nap. I felt (and still feel) worse and more tired after waking up than before. I got the lovely trifecta with extra tiredness, a bad headache, and feeling really really really thirsty after waking up
Apparently the bank processed my dispute and sided with me though, so that's nice. And as with pretty much every step of the process, they told me it will be returned to my account within 3 days, unless it isn't, in which case it will be returned in a period of time which is not 3 days
Spotted at the shops. Is this a prank from friends or legit. Either way, must be fun getting double bullied on the roads

I have no idea what I want! A pinch of everything please chef.
All in one pot ๐ฅ
Could I please have a Himalayan chilli chicken curry and a goat momo (15pcs).
Ugh. I went back to sleep without having my drink. Why is it so hard to be alive
Why does the epsom salt packet say wash hands after use when you're taking a bath in the stuff.
I'm thinking I put an old laptop to use as a media player before forking out for an old PC to be dedicated to the job. I want to use it as is initially, but Windows is really making me want to just wipe the whole thing and just put Debian on it for this project.
This laptop was my daily driver for a couple of years so I kind of want to keep it as is for a little while if possible, but I could just scrape everything off it and format it if that's what things come to
Surprise Sunday Pakige!
Everything good this time, no returns required.
That's a win in itself these days
Watching a documentary on Pompei. Would love to visit one day, itโs fascinating. Putting it on the bucket list.
