One of the quaint nooks in the Turku Castle. I love how much contrast there is always between the dark walls within, compared to the light that casts on the white walls.

Metered by eye, as I almost always do since I can't be bothered with keeping track of the batteries. Scanning with a Plustek OpticFilm 7600i, Vuescan for raws, Negpy for flipping into a positive.

This is an enlarged scan of the full negative, which looks like this:

It was shot in manual, f/22 and shutterspeed 1/2000th, the darkest settings I could get. I didn't have any filter but it was quite a wide angle shot and I covered the lens after and before shooting. This photo is exactly the same scene, but exposed for the foreground:

The shape of the eclipsed sun can be seen here as well, though slightly darker than the surrounding sun star and sky. This confused me, but apparently this is called Solarization and is common in film.

Anyway, this was my first roll of Pan F, and I love this stuff. I didn't expect these photos to really be useful at all, but the latitude and detail of this film is absolutely crazy

An old neglected and crumbling barn on a family member's farm. It hasn't been used in probably 20 years now.

I developed this picture myself and the developing process was a bit of a disaster this time. The film slipped out of the holder in the developing vat, overlapped, got scratched by the film holder, messed up the developer and fixer times.

Of the vat this one and one other came out salvageable.

I also took the same shot with a bit different focus in landscape, I'll post it some other time.

This was in the Fukuoka area, I like how the colors ended up coming out, bit eerie feeling.
