I just started watching 86 and after watching the end of ep 3 I have to wonder if humanity is doomed to repeat the mistake of harming those who would help us.

Some might see kindness as pity and sympathy but is that because we can no longer see each other as fellow humans and only as enemies?

I'm very curious as to how the rest of the anime continues but I'm gonna have to take a break for a while cause that ending was both tragic and emotionally disgusting/devastating.
