I saw a text come in on Sunday asking if I could work today (a day I don't normally work) and I ignored it. I didn't have a good reason, I just didn't feel up for it tbh, and don't need the extra money. What can I say if I'm asked about it? It kind of ruined my days off, with the guilt about not replying

all I want to do is log in & watch Dai Henwood's documentary, so why does Three Now make it so difficult to even login! The app has logged me out so I need to put in my password again (who can even remember what useless password was used). So I choose to reset the password, but it tells me that I need to choose a more complicated password, then I need to us a different password than before, then it won't let me select login at the end - so it won't enter my password & the screen just sits there. By this stage I am giving up and vow never to watch anything on Three Now again.

It shouldn't be so difficult to login to something so simple - it's not my phone banking which I expect to have decent security! It's to watch some TV programmes!

Do better Three Now.

Am still annoyed as I still want to watch Life of Dai - maybe will need to set up a whole new profile & new email address! Aargghh!

I've been working on a minimum wage casual/part time contract for over a year now in a big retail chain. I'm getting sick of my boss being annoyed with/guilting me because I don't want to work 7 days a week. I work every weekend 9-5:30 on both days and then I like to pick up two more 8h shifts during the week to a total of 32h~ per week which is perfectly reasonable and I can easily live on this amount of money. Almost every time she will glare and ask me to work more shifts. It's ridiculous because I was also denied every time I tried to take a full time position for "not being mature enough" (I'm 19). I have a lot going on outside work as I'm renovating my parents old house in another city which I'm traveling to and from every other week. Isn't it in my contract that I can choose what shifts to work? And maybe if we weren't so understaffed she wouldn't need me working every day of the week. I do not care about this minimum wage job enough to be there every waking hour and I only have it to save up money for the reno and get work experience. Does anyone else who works casually have this problem with a boss who makes you feel guilty for saying no to a shift?

The chat I've heard from kids these days playing basketball at a local court;

  • 'whatever, I'll cook you'
  • 'can I break your ankles'
  • 'he's got temu ankles'

😂

These kids are about 7-10yrs at a guess. In my day we would barely say anything, they must get it from gaming or something?

Oh and they can hardly shoot the ball too
