Let's think about this.

Our society prevents it from happening (as we should), but it is quite possible for a 12 year old to have a baby who grows up to have a baby at 12 years old and so you get a 24 year old grandmother. It's a bit less likely to get a 24 year old grandfather, but also biologically feasible. The claim that these people, who can literally be grandparents, are in fact children, is laughable :-D

Experience is important. That's why my society has to reverse course 180° - We currently segregate all under 18s from normal society preventing them from gaining any of the necessary experience. It's as if we have designed a system specifically to produce extremely immature and incompetent 19 year olds.

Tell a kid he's stupid every day for 10 years, and guess what, he really becomes stupid. It's self-fulfilling prophecy.

We do that to our teenagers. We're constantly telling them they're morons.

If we did the opposite, if we told them they're great, and gave them the tools they need, they'd excel.

It would make absolutely no sense for nature to create a whole bunch of half-wits with all the means and desire to have sex and children, but leave their brains incapable of normal functioning for years after that.
