This article about the secretive nature of the Department of Energy (DoE) from The War Zone back in 2021 BLEW ME AWAY. The idea that the DoE, not the DoD, may be the primary gatekeeper is not new to me or to this community, but this article really drove it home for me that the DoE would be the likeliest place for THE secrets.

NOTE: the article It is not specifically about UAP or “the program”. It describes the overall secretive nature and capabilities at the DoE.

It’s a long read but it’s super interesting for anyone deep into the topic. Again, this is an article about the DoE and secrecy in general, not specifically about “the program”, whatever that may be.

Over time, I have noticed that some skeptics tend to associate people who seriously consider the possibility of extraterrestrial involvement in the UFO phenomenon with those who believe in outlandish stories, including claims about secret underground bases like Dulce, alleged treaties between extraterrestrial beings and the U.S. government, or interdimensional entities that feed on human souls. However, I think that this association is both misleading and unfair.

Not everyone who believes that some UFOs could be extraterrestrial spacecraft automatically buys into the more extreme and absurd stories that are part of the broader UFO lore. It is possible to consider extraterrestrial visitation as an explanation for certain UFO sightings without simultaneously subscribing to the idea that aliens have signed secret agreements with governments, established underground facilities for genetic experimentation in collaboration with military forces, or harbor some nefarious agenda to harvest human souls. These ideas are not intrinsically linked, and it is erroneous to treat them as such. Personally, I categorically reject these stories and feel frustrated when I am associated to them simply because I take the UFO phenomenon seriously.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that the U.S. government has actively promoted these kind of bizarre conspiracy theories. Think about it for a moment. Who is behind the story of the Dulce Base and the idea of underground alien bases in general? A former CIA agent, and a government agent who worked in counter-intelligence. Who planted the idea of secret treaties between the U.S. government and the "Grey aliens" from Zeta Reticuli? A government agent who worked in counter-intelligence. Who pushed the notion that cattle mutilations were caused by extraterrestrial activities? A government agent who worked in counter-intelligence. Who promoted and spread the idea that one of the Roswell aliens survived to the crash and was held in custody in Area 51 until his death? A government agent who worked in counter-intelligence. Who is behind the idea that the aliens are implanting millions of abductees with the purpose of controlling their bodies and taking over the world? That's right, a government agent who worked in counter-intelligence.

Even a blind person can see that there is a pattern here — a deliberate, orchestrated effort by individuals trained in disinformation to promote these wild ideas, in order to make the entire UFO topic look absurd and ridiculous. Each of these stories, which have become so deeply embedded in UFO lore, didn’t come from credible, independent sources but were instead carefully crafted by people whose job was to manipulate and control narratives. Therefore, if we really want to be consistent, the best way to support serious UFO research and the broader UFO community is to actively oppose these tales. They have nothing to do with seriousness or scientific rigor, and were deliberately fabricated by hostile forces.

Ultimately, serious consideration of extraterrestrial involvement in the UFO phenomenon should not be confused with support for every bizarre conspiracy theory. These are separate issues, and it is important for people to recognize that distinction.

I am finding it harder and harder to continue to take... well, everything seriously when we live in a world where the following occured in sequence:

  1. Large groups of unidentified drones violated the airspace of multiple US military installations to include the most severe example known, Langley AFB which suffered 17 straight days of aerial trespass in late 2023 (note—a Chinese national would later be presumed responsible for Langley's after being caught spying with a single drone in the region the following month).

  2. Langley suffers another group unidentified drone(?) incursion Sunday night of this week with outstanding footage trending online from an apparently legitimate poster, premiering here on Reddit.

  3. The Pentagon holds a presser two days after the latest incursion... regarding the 17-day stint of UAP drones spotted over Langley last year.

  4. No one, neither spokeswoman nor journalist, speaks a word about the unbelievable recurrence of exactly what they're discussing, which was less than 48 hours prior and with some remarkable video evidence that had been trending online since posted.

It's the #4 that gets me most.

What's going on here?

P.S. Please don't get the impression I assume these drones are operated by/are NHI; this situation is equally thought provoking in the event it is completely prosaic. What more beautifully unignorable example of our news narratives being curated could there be than something as obvious as this being conveniently "missed."

I saw this tweet today:

Which links to this story from October 2023 on CNBC.com:

That's awesome. Brief good entry-level article.

But then I wondered, why now, and a year old article?

For the unaware, CNBC is the news service on TV like this for business and economy stuff in the USA. If general NBC is general news, MSNBC is their hard core political news, and CNBC is the serious business news one. They

Why this article? Why these times and why only this? They don't seem to share old articles like this.

But they did this one.

Full text of that article by Magdalena Petrova.

The article inclues a 13 minute video.

Unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, have captured the imagination of Americans for decades. But much of the conversation has been confined to science fiction movies and novels.

In the absence of government commentary on the topic, conspiracy theories have run rampant. A big one suggests the U.S. has been concealing alien life and technology in secret compounds like Area 51 in Nevada. A 2019 poll found 68% of respondents believed the U.S. government knows “more about UFOs than it is telling us.”

The government is trying to change the narrative. In an attempt to be more transparent and address potential national security questions, Washington, D.C. has taken up the charge to publicize and legitimize the study of unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs, as the military has rebranded UFOs.

“I think they have started to recognize that we should actually have the ability to report these objects, not because we’re out there doing some type of UFO hunt, but because it’s a matter of national security and domain awareness that the tactical air crew in this country understand what’s in front of their aircraft,” said Ryan Graves, executive director of the UAP-focused nonprofit Americans for Safe Aerospace.

A former U.S. Navy pilot, Graves also testified before Congress in July, alongside two other former military officials, about his experience with UAPs.

That Congressional hearing followed a flurry of government activity aimed at demystifying UAPs. In June 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a preliminary report on UAPs, followed in November by the Pentagon establishing a group to identify and track objects in restricted airspace.

Then, in June 2022, NASA convened an independent expert panel to help study UAP incidents and advise the Department of Defense on how to gather and interpret data on UAPs. The next month, the DoD established the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AARO, to synchronize efforts across DoD and other federal agencies in detecting and investigating UAP sightings.

Watch the video to find out more.

Original Title: Jeremy Corbell made great point against Edward Snowden claim. Snowden said he looked into government data and didn't find anything about UFOs. In reality there was secret UFO program AAWSAP going on. Snowden didn't have access to this information

This point is often brought up by many people during discussions about UFO secrecy. Even Snowden stated it multiple times. The argument is that Snowden worked in high government position and got access to sensitive information. Snowden said he didn't see any secret information or documents about UFOs or aliens. For him it means there is just nothing there.

In reality during Snowden case there was indeed secret UFO program called AAWSAP. This program run by James Lacatski was going on for years and didn't get expose until 2017. Snowden didn't have any information about this program. So his argument falls apart pretty quickly. It's obviously worth to mention that if there are more secret UFO programs like legacy crash retrieval program, then program can be easily hidden from official documentation.

Hello, back again to a sub that has been extraordinarily helpful in the past with reporting on the UFO topic in the media. Currently looking for a list of academics who have been the target of harassment and actual or attempted career assassination attempts due to taking an interest in UFOs, or proposing the phenomenon as a matter of serious scientific inquiry. I know they exist, but specific names elude me at the moment.

I'm aware of the slander that Avy Loeb received for simply proposing that Oumuamua could be explained if it had an artificial origin. Looking for more of the same, plus academics who have historically had their careers and reputations destroyed over a genuine interest in UFOs. Other examples of blatant academic bias also appreciated.

As usual, any help is greatly appreciated.

Someone suggested this should be its own discussion:

In another thread, a discussion came about regarding Drôme, France, started by user u/Outrageous_Courage97. This place is a hotspot for UFOs. The user had the following ufo content:

South of France, Drôme - April 24, 2007:

If you wanna an orb in the same region (Drôme), here you go:

Note that Drôme region is near the "Albion Plateau", a disused(?) french nuclear balistic launch base:

The site "closed" in 1996. I searched google earth and found out that this is a 3.07 square mile blurred circle. Oddly street view gets close, but blurs the area from every vantage point; so that original driver, and presumably anyone who goes there now, could drive that road and see the area. Why blur an area where people can drive and see it for themselves? Also, you cannot do street view anywhere inside the circle, despite there being paved roads. You can try it for yourself with any road that gets close:

Blurred street view

Blurred out area from above

Lastly, although blurred out, there is a triangular mound with a road leading into it. It could very well just be a cleared-out part of a field with white dirt made into an equilateral triangle. Or I wonder if it could be the supposed ship that was too big to move and was buried.

In the new Weaponized episode that dropped today, Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp talk specifically about the revelations of the Immaculate Constellation program that was dropped by journalist Michael Shellenberger last week on his substack.

In this clip, Corbell admits that they have multiple Dead Man's Switches in case anything happens to them. He also talks about how if names aren't leaked, as in the whistleblower who came forward about Immaculate Constellation, Catastrophic Disclosure is imminent and the world will know on the hearing on Nov. 13th.

They also talk about how they had to make sure the IC IG Chuck McCullough was sat behind David Grusch at the July 26, 2023 hearing so that he literally had Grusch's ear to make sure the Grusch didn't say too much.

Just so folks know, this was the most well-attended hearing in US history. Many folks sat in the halls outside after they didn't make it in.

Here's a pic of the four of them. Funny that Shawn Ryan is right there. I'm not recognizing the other folks. I think that might be Mike McMasters to the right of Knapp.

Here's Shellenberger's article:

That same day he was on Joe Rogan. Here's a short clip:

Here's the full episode:

The Good Trouble Show with Matt Ford also talked about it the same day:

Here's Shellenberger last year after the hearing last year talking crash-retrievals.

Here's the 177-page document about the timeline of crash-retrievals that he submitted to Congress the day of the hearing.

Here's the trailer for George Knapp's new Netflix documentary that he's been filming in secret, 'Investigation Alien.'

I believe it is no accident that the "Global disclosure day" event by the NewParadgm Institute was chosen to be on the 20th of october, the same day the deadline for all federal agencies to disclose Everything they have about UAP.

Expecting that they mostly will not comply...but there could be new nuggets of info in there that could be discussed on this event by some good panelists:

Ross Coulthart

Lue Elizondo

Karl Nell

Chris Sharp

Danny Sheehan

and many more

Original Title: Immaculate Constellation is an information gathering and crash retrieval program, but it's only seven years old. Do we have any reason to believe that they've even had any cash retrievals in that time? Seems like an important question.

My understanding of Immaculate Constellation is that it's an information gathering and crash retrieval program. I believe the original Shellenberger article says something like "UAP and ARV collections and transfer."

The information gathering part means collecting sensor data (video, still images, radar, other spectra, etc.) and witness reports.

The crash retrieval part seems self explanatory (if that's actually part of it; "collections and retrieval" may refer only to intelligence/information). However, based on what we know, they may farm out the actual physical activity of going and getting the thing to the CIA's Office of Global Access and/or other JSOC (and/or contractor?) assets.

There's probably another part where they distribute the retrieved materials and corresponding information to an (as yet unnamed) reverse engineering program, or programs, likely housed within defense contractors (see Wilson Davis memo and others).

It's only seven years old. Do you think they've even had any crash retrievals in that time? It's not long. They might not have.

There was a post in the past couple days where Nick Pope said that the only two remaining questions were "what agency is the program under" and "who runs it?" I would say this is a third important question, if we're trying to chase this whole thing down: have they actually engaged in any crash retrievals since their inception in 2017?

Thinking about this, it becomes obvious that the elephant in the room is, who is actually receiving recovered materials and what is the government program that is in change of that? Was that reset/renamed in 2017, like Immaculate Constellation? If it was, what was the ancestral program? For that matter, what was the Immaculate Constellation predecessor that existed prior to 2017 (because it was definitely something)?

Honestly, I'm not sure that sensor data and witness reports are enough to move the needle anymore. We want the goods; the physical evidence. That will live under another program. What's that one called? What agency is it under? Who runs it?
