There goes Palestine.

Centrists were willing to lose rather than abandon Netanyahu. The only time the shit wing of the party didn't buckle to pressure, and it was to make sure a genocidal apartheid regime kept getting everything they wanted to commit genocide.

You got what you wanted. Stop gloating.

Democrats literally would have lost harder if they'd listened to you. We never should have taken part in the theft of Palestine. Never should have sided with the occupiers. But the fact is, regardless of right or wrong, or the morality of it. The American public overwhelmingly supports Israel. As disgusting as that is

Democrats lack of vocal well laid out economic plan for the average person is what lost them the election ultimately. Bluemaga screechers like yourself only managed to alienate yourself and weaken your position. But hey, at least you have your smug, empty, false morality and sense of superiority to soothe yourself with. As the genocide accelerates and expands, coming home. Mission accomplished friend, right?

I very much doubt that you find it disgusting at all, considering you've spent the past year vocally supporting it.

Democrats lack of vocal well laid out economic plan for the average person is what lost them the election ultimately.

Please tell this to everyone who blames people who opposed genocide for Democrats' loss, then. And remember. Since we were so insignificant that opposition to genocide was treated with withering contempt and overt hatred by lemmy's centrists, we are also too insignificant to blame. Enjoy trump's implementation of centrism's only actual policy.

Then quit your cringe yapping and quote a single clear instance. Because I will be able to quote five that say the opposite. I've said those exact words multiple times over the last year. Stop being a baseless divisive whiner and provide the receipts.

Please tell this to everyone who blames people who opposed genocide for Democrats' loss

They know that's the problem. You are also the problem though. There can be more than one problem. And people like yourself are absolutely part of it.

They know that’s the problem.

Then they're just screaming at the left because they hate them and not genocide.

[–] Eldritch@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Or, just bare with me here. Admit that you contributed to the problem. That you are committed to actually making change. Helping people, and not baselessly attacking people who would be your allies. Something I'm trying to do better with as well. It's not just you.

Fascism is here. It was delayable or possibly avoidable. But there are clear undeniable parallels to late 1920s German. They're already targeting minorities. And we need to get our shit together and work together to protect them. Whether they are Hispanic trans or otherwise.

Admit that you contributed to the problem.

Opposition to genocide is only a "problem" to those who support it.

That you are committed to actually making change.

Change as in getting the Democratic party to move to the left? Or change as in meek servility to the Democratic Party's pro-genocide wing no matter what they do?

Helping people, and not baselessly attacking people who would be your allies.

After this last election cycle, I have given up forever on the laughable concept of Democrats ever being the allies of the left.

They’re already targeting minorities

They? Democrats ran anti-trans hate in their own ads. Democrats adopted Republican border policy. Democrats supported genocide. Democrats voted with Republicans on their anti-trans defense bill. Democrats already preemptively decided that bigotry was going to have bipartisan support.

And we need to get our shit together and work together to protect them. Whether they are Hispanic trans or otherwise.

Someone has to. It will never be Democrats.

Opposition to genocide is only a "problem" to those who support it.

You mean a Harris voter with empty rhetoric like yourself? A genocide supporter like yourself? No one has a problem with opposition to genocide. People have a problem with you being a hypocrite.

Change as in getting the Democratic party to move to the left? Or change as in meek servility to the Democratic Party's pro-genocide wing no matter what they do?

You choose the latter while faking the former.

I tried to talk to you like an adult. I apologize, it was clearly a mistake. You're just a childish hypocrite.
