Doug Ford wants to stack the courts with "like-minded judges." Thanks to first-past-the-post, he can keep winning unchecked majorities with just 40% of the vote.

Democracy shouldn't work this way—Ontario needs proportional representation.

The problem with Proportional Representation and Ranked Voting is that the party in power wasn't elected that way and they wouldn't be in power if the voting structure was set up that way.

That's not an argument against proportional representation, it's an argument against the party in power.

Correct. Proportional Representation is good. Elected officials with 40% Majority are not going to convert.

The only hope is for NDP to win as they lose so often proportional representation is the best way for them to win more often.
