Hello knitters! Here's for another version of WIP Wednesday, feel free to reply to this thread with your own Work In Progress.

What project has kept you up past your bedtime this week? As for myself I decided to start a 'quick' project, a headband for a friend who loves red. Pattern is the Thicket Headband by Mirella Moments. I'm loving headbands for quick & easy projects and this is a fun twist to the usual cable design.

Yarn is something my mom had in her stash, it's was the only red-ish yarn I could find but since it was a little too thin for the pattern I decided to knit it double.

I haven't knit in over two years and I've started this three times in two days all because my Sirka counter broke. This is a pattern I've lost the picture of in the last two days, first repeat of 37, in Luxe Gradient by Apple Tree Knits. First post at lemmyworld, also first time posting my knitting. Edit: Found it! Plethora by Chrissy Crandall.

Congrats on unlurking! ๐Ÿ˜„

That scarf pattern is so nice, if I could trust myself for a single second to not get the lace holes caught on something and rip it to bits it would be straight into my Rav queue. Are you going for multiple colours like the original cover pics?

It's a gradient with five colors, so I'm letting the yarn do the work. Soft and squishy so far but I dropped two stitches next to each other and couldn't figure out how to fix it so I had to tink back. I don't recommend it in lace. ๐Ÿ™

Oh that's going to be so fun in a gradient! Yeah, mistakes in lace can be pretty annoying to fix. I used to take the idea of using lifelines as a personal insult but honestly, I do recommend it, the peace of mind is totally worth the extra bit of effort.
