Rules:

- No memes, trolling, misinformation, or low-effort posts/comments (including reposts). If you see posts like this that anger you, do not engage. Report, block, and live a happier life than they do. Any slap-fight is subject to comment removals. Fights full of rule violations will result in temporary bans to cool off.
- No manipulating votes via bots or alt accounts; this will result in permanent bans. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in an account ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be permanently banned.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules and use critical thinking when reading, posting, and commenting. Users that repeatedly have comments or posts removed, weaponize reports, or violate the code of conduct, will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. They're just stabbing the EU and Canada in the back. This is BASIC game theory. You need to retaliate otherwise the game is lost. But they would rather hitch their wagon to the new Nazi regime to help their economy? Disgusting.
Retaliate by destroying your own economy and gaining Sweet FA out of it? I’d be more willing to agree if you can actually show me how retaliating with own tariffs would disadvantage Trump in any way. No, it is just bait to get Australia to commit to harming their own economy so Trump can buy everything up.
Why do you think all the other countries have retaliatory tariffs? It's to hurt the US back. If their goods are now more expensive, then competing products are now cheaper in comparison and capitalism does it's thing. This is basic, basic trade war stuff.

I'm Aussie, and Albo is a cunt, but I don't want us to retaliate economically yet.
Like others have said it's a minor impact on our industry so far. I'm more concerned about taxing these mining and resources corporations.
