I started ripping my CDs as soon as hard drives got big enough to fit them, then switched to buying mp3's digitally.

Never got on the streaming/Spotify bandwagon because these services never have every album I have/want.

I remember having an actual CD player when my parents used to buy all our music; went from that to the iPod touch (before it being lost forever). After that my first streaming service I used was Pandora and I used them for years until now when going fully degoogled. (App kept completely crashing after I got off of Google). Well thats one problem with streaming, another is the storage, subscriptions, annoying ads and some only work online (unless you pay for a subscription).
