Jade Cargill has signed a multi-year contract with WWE, as first reported by ESPN.

I hope she knocks it out of the park. Does WWE often announce a signing before they show up?

In the era of NXT, it's fairly common. They had a press conference when Asuka joined, and posted an article when Andrade signed.

Thanks for that info! I started watching that era of NXT a bit later, so I missed that. Between a press conference and that awesome first appearance of Asuka, they really knew they had someone important, huh.
