That’s not a mask off moment. I have no interest in living in the projects. I’d rather rent a nice house in a nice neighborhood. I don’t want the government involved with my housing.

By default if the government owns it. It’s a project. That’s where the term comes from.

I have no need for the government to supply housing as the free market does a better job. I lived in government housing in the military. No thank you.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that. The free market does a terrible job at providing housing. You must have just been lucky with your landlords before. The fact that this thread exists demonstrating how crazy high housing is shows that the free market isn't great for providing housing.

Never had any issues. I just paid the rent and was left alone. Typically used rentals when I moved to a new area until I bought. If I didn’t plan to stay, I rented until I moved.

The last thing I want is the government in the rental market.
