There is this little sentence in Peter Pan that always had me. Tinker Bell gets the help of some "street fairies" to help get rid of Wendy. There is no description of street fairies. There are no streets in Neverland.

This scene typifies Tink's full homicidal rage against Wendy. She is going to deport her from Neverland. If she dies, she dies. Something very absent from the later Disney versions of Tink.

Sleigh’s career as an artist had one sole throughline: fairies. Some of his interest in Fairyland evidently stemmed from medical trauma. In the late 1890s, he developed an abscess in his inner ear. Doctors trepanned him, drilling a hole in his skull, and, ever after, he would see otherworldly things.

When I created this, my wife told me people, herself included, don't know the Little Rabbit (or Bunny) Foo Foo song. I was sure she was wrong, but as usual, she was not. In the event that you are part of the majority, here are the lyrics: Little rabbit Foo Foo Hopping through the forest Scooping up the field mice And bopping them on the head Down came the Good Fairy, and she said "Little rabbit Foo Foo I don't want to see you Scooping up the field mice And bopping them on the head. I'll give you three chances, And if you don't stop, I'll turn you into a GOON!" And the next day... The song the repeats until the leader decides they have had enough.
